Store Front ~ANNOUNCEMENT~

After a lot of thought and three long months of dealing with repeated flooding in our shop space, I’ve had to make the very difficult decision to temporarily close Mystical’s Menagerie’s physical storefront.

This wasn’t a choice made lightly. The reality is that the repairs needed for the building are extensive, and staying open would have meant even more forced closures. As a small shop, even a few closed days hit our bottom line hard — more than most people realize. Continuing to fight for a space we couldn’t reliably open would have pushed us toward debt we simply couldn’t take on. Closing the physical shop for an unknown amount of time is the safest way to protect the future of the business and everything we’ve built together.

I know you probably have questions, so let me answer a few right away:

No, I don’t have another space secured yet.

Yes, I am looking — but I’m not rushing. I’m trusting that the right place will show itself when the time is right. What we need to continue our vision is already on its way; we just have to be patient and let the path unfold.

Will the website stay up?

Absolutely. In fact, this shift means we’ll be focusing even more on our online presence. Mystical’s Menagerie and Static & Stone will remain open and will be filled with amazing new things we know you’ll love. Kristina and I are also putting more energy into getting “Ask Mystical” fully launched for your podcast and video blog enjoyment.

You can still reach me through our Facebook page, and custom orders and requests will continue to be our top priority. We aren’t disappearing — we’re simply adjusting to what the moment requires.

Will we still host events?

YES. Social groups, community events, markets — all of it continues. Some locations may shift, but they’ll still be familiar places like Books on Main, Break the Silence Resource Center, The Block, Treacherous Waters, and our local parks.

Morgan County Makers Markets that were planned for our shop space will be moved to the Brush location until we secure a new home in Fort Morgan or the surrounding area.

And yes — we will be returning to vendor markets. After a year of focusing mainly on running events, we’re ready to bring back your favorite mystical and magical booth. Our team is growing, and we’re excited to get back out there.

So where will you find us in the coming months?

Online, at local markets, at community events, and in all our usual collaborative spaces.
